Diabetes Pathophysiology

Usually referred and described as a group of metabolic diseases. When there is a dis-balance between the demand and supply of the hormone named insulin, diabetes occurs. This topic is widely discussed in ADA Meetings. There are several types of diabetes and all types are curable and manageable as stated earlier in European Diabetes conferences. The autoimmune disease (also known as IDDM), can also lead to the Peripheral insulin resistance (also known as NIDDM or “adult onset” diabetes). Pathophysiology of gestational diabetes is one of such types of diabetes due to high blood sugar levels are developed in pregnant women who don’t have any previous history of Diabetes. In an interval of every few years, the metabolic syndromes like diabetes are re-evaluated by community to provide present recommendations for the classification, diagnosis, and screening of diabetes, which reflects new info from research and clinical practice, facilitating and understanding current hindrance and treatment choices and cost effectiveness in treatment and management of such disorders.
